We know many things: what to do, how to do it, what is right, what will work, and some other stuff as well. The problem here is that we know these things, but we don’t try to do any of it. Like, we know that writing helps people, but we don’t write. Even if some people start, they quit. It becomes difficult for them to write because they have nothing to write. They just think, 'What should I write?' And they don’t write these things.

But this is the process. This is why you have to write. Because you’ll develop thinking. The more you write, the more you think clearly. But for writing and thinking, you can add one more thing, which is reading. If you read a lot, it will help you to think more and think clearly.
What it does is, it keeps you in the present if you don’t wander in time. You can write whatever comes into your mind. You can even write that you don’t have anything to write, and that’s completely okay because you’ve at least written something. And that’s the process. This is what you need. This, I don’t know, is what you need. Because as we think that we know everything. But when you write, things get difficult. And then realizations happen. And these realizations are good for you to introspect and retrospect as well. You can always come back to your writings and understand yourself and what you were at that time.
We know that what I’m telling you is right; you know it, I know it. But the question here is, why won't you start?
So let me give you what I’ve to say here.
You won’t do these things because you are not serious about your life. You are not serious about how you live. You are not serious about living without conflicts. You are not serious about getting rid of mental battling thoughts. You’ve accepted that this is the normal way of living a life. But why have you accepted that? Because there’s a whole bunch of people living this kind of life, that is without awareness, living in misery and justifying it, full of conflicts inward and outward, disturbing oneself and others.
But there’s no doubt that you don’t want to make your life conflict-free. You want it for sure. What you don’t want is to end what you’ve known. You are afraid if something known ends. Because you always had this practice of keeping yourself busy, struggling, battling around, getting in conflicts, thinking endlessly. If you want to leave all that, there must be a different kind of thinking. So start the process of writing as one habit that has the potential to change you instantly."
